A Good Start in Art: A Review of Term 1

The Visual Arts Enrichment Programme had a good start in the first term of the 21/22 school year- the artwork of LIS students, alumni, and staff/instructors were celebrated. Artwork has been shown in school, at local art exhibitions, and most recently honoured in the 27th Children’s and Youth Art Exhibition. The after school art activities included Textiles with Andrea Garcia, Portraits and Methods/Techniques with David Ralph, Photography with Jeroen Cavents, and new to our offerings was Sculpture with Barbara Osnowski. During these activities, students were super excited embroidering, oil painting, exploring open shutter photography, and making wire/ plaster strip sculptures. Many thanks again to all involved!
