A Sunny and Fun Afternoon with Friends
Community is one of our greatest assets! Our engaged parents organised a picnic and an Easter egg hunt in the school garden last Sunday. There was an egg craft station, everyone brought something for the picnic table and the children enjoyed a fun Easter egg hunt together, looking for delicious treats hidden in and around the garden.
It was lovely to see all the smiling faces, all the people chatting, all the delicious snacks we ate together and especially all the happy, relaxed children! Our friends from Ukraine were there again and had a lot of fun painting Easter eggs and looking for little chocolate treats. Thank you, Gabi, for taking the initiative!
Spring Clean and Social Get-Together after a long Break
A week earlier we celebrated the beginning of spring in the school garden. Many LIS community members, friends and families from Ukraine came to spend time together, enjoy a delicious picnic, listen to music and help prepare the garden for the new season. Thank you Gitte for organising this lovely event. On this occasion we also officially opened the newly built stage in our garden.
We all agreed how much we missed these gatherings and how important it is to meet and have the opportunity to get to know, listen to and support each other. We will keep up this tradition!

For more community spirit, come to the Garden Workout every Tuesday. Anyone who enjoys gardening and community work can join in and have fun. Tools, coffee, tea and professional guidance will be provided. Everyone is welcome!
