Our school library

The library is centrally located in the middle of the first floor in room 112. Primary and Secondary School materials are both housed here in a 104 square meter facility. The library has over 11,000 items. The majority are in English, about 700 in German, and 300 in 25 other Mother Tongue languages.

Primary and Secondary non-fiction materials are shelved in separate sections according to their Dewey Decimal Classification. An average of 1500 items circulate monthly. The loan period is for three-weeks. A small reference section includes several sets of encyclopedias, dictionaries and other reference materials, many of which may be loaned out.

There are 4 computers in the library with access, via the school network, to Internet and Office software.

Magazines and newspapers

The Library subscribes to several English language magazines and newspapers: The Guardian Weekly, National Geographic, Time Europe, and First News.
