LEIPZIG INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Accreditation, Affiliation & Examinations

LIS is part of a global network of educational organisations:

The Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) accredit the school jointly.

CIS is the leading organisation in International Education for the accreditation and development of schools.

The model of accreditation that operates in conjunction with NEASC is a system of accountability and quality control, regularly reviewed in order to define the characteristics of good and improving schools and colleges.

International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education.

University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE)  is the world’s largest provider of international qualifications for 14–19 year olds.

Association of German International Schools (AGIS) brings together more than 20 International Schools in Germany, and acts as forum and lobby for the interests they share.
