Halloween Cake Decorating Competition

Today LIS held a Halloween Cake Decorating Competition which was organised by the Primary Student Council.
Famous Peter Maria Schnurr, the Gault Millau Chef of the Year 2016 and MasterChef and Owner of Falco Restaurant in Leipzig and his Chef Patissiere Natalie Gorenc have judged the cakes.
At lunchtime, all cakes were sold as part of a fund-raising bake sale to students and staff. Money raised will go towards the reconstruction of Mexico and support of the victims after the devastating earthquake they suffered on 19 September 2017. This foundation supports help programmes which involve young people in charity actions.

Today's winners are:
Grade 1 and 2: Emilia and Fay
Grade 4 and 5: Nai and Xenia & Esmira
Staff: Mrs Downs and Mrs Brannon
