A 'Wish Tree' at LIS

The Christmas season is starting quite soon and for many of us it is time to give and celebrate. Following a tradition, we would like to invite you to help collect presents for children living in a children’s home here in Leipzig.

What we do:
We will note the children’s wishes and needs such as puzzles, little games, CDs, play-dough, ect.  and use them to decorate a tree in the entrance lobby (next to reception).  Everyone has time through 15th December to take one or more notes off the wish tree, buy the desired item, wrap it and place the wrapped gift in the big wish-box underneath the tree. Before the Christmas holidays, we will visit the children’s home and give all the presents to the children.
Last year the Wish Tree was a great success, so look out for the Wish Tree and help us make this Christmas time once again a special moment for these children.
Thank you so much for your help!
A big thank you goes out to the Engler family who kindly donated the Christmas trees for LIS and the kindergarten.
