Student Support Services is a department spanning the whole school. It offers support to students and works closely with parents, staff and external care providers.
We believe that all students deserve the opportunity to become and remain healthy, confident, caring and considered risk-takers, fulfilling their potential as they progress along a path of life-long learning. We understand that children and young people are individuals with different strengths and needs, and that physical, personal, social and emotional factors are interconnected with their ability to learn. Consequently, we offer support and implement systems and strategies which aim to ensure that students receive the care they need.
The principal services we offer are: counselling support; learning support; medical support; child welfare/protection. Fiona Eels (Head of Student Support Services) is the point of contact for parents who wish to have further information about the department and internal or external referrals.
