IB Graduation Ceremony at the Gewandhaus
Join us in celebrating the achievements of our graduating IB students as they mark the culmination of their academic journey. Families, faculty and friends are warmly invited to honour the hard work, growth and accomplishments of the Class of 2026. A formal ceremony at the ‘Gewandhaus zu Leipzig’ followed by a reception will be held to commemorate this important milestone.
Arrival & Parking Information
The Gewandhaus is centrally located at Augustusplatz and is easily accessible by public transport. Guests are encouraged to use Leipzig’s tram network, with the stop “Augustusplatz” located directly in front of the venue. The following tram lines serve this stop: 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15 and 16.
Arriving by car
For guests arriving by car, several parking facilities are available within walking distance of the venue, including:
- ‘Augustusplatz’ underground car park
- Car park at ‘Das Lebendige Haus’
- ‘Am Neumarkt’ car park
- ‘Burgplatz / Petersbogen’ car park
- ‘Marktgalerie’ car park
- Central Station East & West car parks
We recommend allowing extra time for arrival, as city centre parking may be limited during peak hours.
