Does LIS set grades?
In Primary School, LIS does not use traditional grades. Instead, we assess the whole child through continuous feedback and goal setting, focusing on progress and reflection.
In Middle and High School, students receive grades for attainment and learning behaviours in semester reports. Attainment grades reflect achievement, not behaviours, and are based on Common Assessment Tasks (CATs), class performance, and teacher judgment, aiming to reward progress and consistency.
