Results of the PA Leadership Team Election

We are pleased to announce the results of the PA Leadership Team’s election:

We congratulate the candidates and would like to thank all nominees for their candidacy.
We also thank all parents who voted for their candidate(s)!

It will be now left up to the elected team to allocate themselves roles. In order to support school events that require extensive planning and preparation, the PA Leadership Team will be voted in for a term of 2 years. The First Co-Chair will assume the main chair responsibilities for the current year. The Second Co-Chair will assist and gather all information needed to assume the responsibility for being First Co-Chair during the following year.

… and please don’t forget: Any parent can play an active role in shaping our community. Any parent can volunteer as a PA Committee Leader to assume the organisational and promotional responsibilities for a specific PA event or activity. PA Committee Leaders will work with the Leadership Team as necessary to successfully implement the event or activity.

So please also volunteer to either run a committee or assist in a committee and support the LIS community!

Liane Lindenlaub
Marketing Manager
Liane graduated as 'Diplomkauffrau' from studying Business Psychology, Business Administration, Marketing and Tourism Management. The central focus of her work has been in these areas since then. During and after her studies she lived and worked in the USA, in Australia and in New Zealand. Originally from Thuringia, she joined the school in 2010 as Parent Community Coordinator. In this position she supported LIS families (especially international families) both with school-related concerns and with any other needs around creating an interesting and satisfying life here in Leipzig. Liane now holds the position of Marketing Manager in which she continues to promote LIS as an outstanding school, both academically and in terms of all-round development.
