Led by some of our secondary staff, the LIS Park Run group has become a regular site on Saturday mornings in the Küchenholz Park, down the road from the school.
This initiative lets registered runners, run 5kms or more for free and have their times measured with the use of a barcode.
It’s also a great opportunity for the LIS community to come together out side of school and meet across age and grade to encourage and support.
This last weekend 20 LIS students, 2 Alumni, 4 teachers and lots of parents joined in the fun. Whether walking, running or volunteering to help on the side lines it is a lovely way to participate in LIS life and get to know the running tribe. Well done to everyone who broke their personal best records last week.
To everyone who would like to join register here and meet up with the rest of the group this Saturday.
