Lego Challenge: Building Roary!

Afternoons in Hort are always buzzing with excitement and our latest Lego challenge was no exception! Students came together after school for a creative and collaborative task – to build their own version of Roary, our beloved school mascot. With a mixture of imagination, teamwork and a whole lot of Lego bricks, the teams set about building Roary in unique and inventive ways. Some creations were big and wild, while others boasted intricate details that expressed Roary’s spirit.

But that wasn’t all! Alongside the Lego Challenge, students could also put their building and engineering skills to the test in a Kapla Challenge, where they had to carefully stack wooden planks to create impressive structures. Those looking for an extra challenge took part in the Kapla Marble Run Challenge, where they had to design a track that was stable enough to guide a marble from start to finish. It was all about patience, precision and creative problem solving – an exciting mix of learning and fun!

The best part? There are always new activities to discover in Hort. In the next two weeks, students can look forward to another Lego challenge, where they will have another opportunity to build, create and work in teams. In addition, a lively bingo game is offered, which brings even more fun and friendly competition to the afternoons.

Those who like to participate in different activities can easily join in – just check the screen on the upper floor to see what activities are currently taking place. There is always something exciting going on, whether it’s a building challenge, a game, or a creative project that you can take part in.

We can’t wait to see what amazing creations and fun moments the next challenges will bring!
