The Beyond LIS Team supports students as they navigate life beyond school, offering guidance on future education and career pathways. Through Careers Education and Guidance, University Admissions and Applications, and Alumni Affairs, the team helps learners recognise their individual strengths while providing current, relevant information on career planning and university options.
University Fairs are just one element of this comprehensive support programme. Since every student’s journey after graduation is different – and shaped by personal interests, goals, and prerequisites – the Beyond LIS Team takes a highly individualised approach to guidance and counselling.
Last Friday’s University Fair was an incredible success. With an impressive number of attendees -including both LIS students and visiting students from other schools – the event ran remarkably smoothly from start to finish.
Students and parents had the opportunity to speak directly with Admissions Officers from universities across Europe and the USA. Participating institutions included, among others, UCL – University College London, University of Navarra (Spain), BSB Business School (France), Breda University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands), University of Leipzig (Germany) and the University of Southampton (UK).
A huge congratulations to Birgitta, Isabel, Tina and Liane for organising such a successful event. Special thanks also go to the Technicians Team and to everyone who supported the day and helped make it run so seamlessly.
Beyond events like the University Fair, the Beyond LIS Team provides tailored, one-to-one counselling, maintains strong links with the world of work, and stays connected with LIS alumni-ensuring students are supported not just in choosing their next step, but in preparing for life beyond LIS.
