Leipzig International School IB ART 2021

By learning to understand and interpret images, our students develop visual literacy that enables them to participate in various forms of art and culture from the past and present, but also to perceive their personal environment and everyday reality critically and creatively.

Visual arts are flourishing at LIS, and one of the many manifestations was the IB Art Exams Exhibitions of our graduating class of 2021.

Secondary Teacher - Enrichment for Performing Arts
Steve grew up in South Jersey, USA and studied and practised Fine Arts and painting at the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, the University of Reading in the UK and at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Steve has been working at LIS since 2002, presiding over the growth of Art at the school while also continuing to produce his own painting: his work can frequently be seen in local galleries.
