Director of Admissions
Our Director of Admissions is the first face to welcome you to Leipzig International School. Dana will make sure you feel welcome during your transition to LIS and provide an introduction to the school, its faculty and staff, its resources as well as information about our community and city. She will ensure that your child will thrive in our learning community through a caring and personalised admissions process.

Director of Admissions
Our Director of Admissions oversees all applications to Leipzig International School. Steffi will guide you through the admissions process and help you understand our concept and procedures. She will ensure you feel welcomed and informed about all aspects of your start in our community, whether in Nursery, Kindergarten, Primary or Secondary School.
We are delighted by your interest in our Leipzig International School. If you would like to receive more detailed information about the possibility of enrolling your child(ren), please send us the non-binding enquiry form. We will be happy to review the general possibility of admission, including factors such as capacity, and then coordinate a time for a personal conversation to officially start the enrolment process. Please note that Leipzig International School is not a boarding school. Admission does not grant eligibility for a student visa, and the school does not provide legal advice on immigration or visa matters.
Student application
Prospective families are invited to complete the following steps:
- Application: Please apply through our Online Application Portal for Kindergarten or School. We will then review your documents according to our admission policy. The online application process requires the completion of the online registration form which takes approximately 30–40 minutes. When filling in the application form you will be asked to upload the following documents:
- – Proof of identity (copy of birth certificate, ID or passport) for student and
parent(s)/guardian(s) - – Proof of sole custody (if applicable)
- – School applicants: two recent reports (applying for G2 and above)
A registration fee of EUR 100.00 is due upon submission of the registration form. Please note that this fee is non-refundable.

2. Taster Day: Suitable candidates can get to know the school routine in a taster day.
3. Acceptance: Once a candidate has been accepted and the contract has been signed by the parents, the place will be reserved for the student.
