Originally from the south-west of England, Ian has lived in Leipzig since 2007 where he moved in order to complete his M.A. in Global Studies: A European Perspective at the Universität Leipzig. After two years working as the Practical Language Program Coordinator at the Technische Universität Chemnitz he pursued a career in secondary school teaching and has been at Leipzig International School since 2011. Ian teaches the IGCSE Global Perspectives, IB Business Management and IBCP Service Learning courses. He is an external examiner for the IGCSE Global Perspectives course and an avid member of the LIS coaching team. He has an MEd in (Secondary) Educational Leadership from the University of Buckingham. Ian holds the position of Assistant Principal (Students) at LIS.
