Ab 1. Januar 2023 ist das Sächsische Transparenzgesetz vom 19. August 2022 (Sächs-GVBl. S. 486) in Kraft. Es gewährt jeder Person ein Recht auf Zugang zu den bei einer transparenzpflichtigen Stelle im Freistaat Sachsen verfügbaren Informationen, soweit keine Ausnahme gilt (Transparenzanspruch). Schulen sind transparenzpflichtige Stellen nur, soweit Informationen über den Namen von Drittmittelgebern, die Höhe der Drittmittel und die Laufzeit der mit Drittmitteln finanzierten abgeschlossenen Forschungsvorhaben betroffen sind. Für staatlich anerkannte Schulen in freier Trägerschaft gilt auch dies nur im Rahmen ihrer Beleihung mit Hoheitsrechten (Abhalten von Prüfungen, Zeugniserteilung).
As of January 1, 2023, the Saxon Transparency Act of August 19, 2022 (Sächs-GVBl. p. 486) is in force. It grants every person a right of access to the information available at a body in the Free State of Saxony that is subject to transparency requirements, unless an exception applies (transparency entitlement). Schools are entities subject to transparency only insofar as information on the name of third-party funders, the amount of third-party funding and the duration of completed research projects financed with third-party funding is concerned. For state-recognized independent schools, this also applies only within the scope of their sovereign rights (holding examinations, issuing certificates).
